About Uku Uku
Uku means "clay" in Te Reo Maori.
Joanna Bloggs started Uku Uku Studio in 2012.
Joanna wanted to created beautiful pottery and ceramics ... with a focus on neutral pigments, so that you are drawn only to the form and feel of each piece.
Uku Uku pottery and ceramics can now be found in leading design stores throughout the North Island of New Zealand, and also feature in several Wellington restaurants and cafes.
